Ann Gamba

Landscape Designer/ Consultant

Ann has been a resident and active contributor to the Jacksonville gardening community for over 30 years. Since 1988, Ann has been a member of the Garden Club of Jacksonville and the San Marco Garden Club Circle, where she’s served as Horticulture Chair, Secretary and Program Chair. Ann is currently pursuing her Landscape Designer Consultant certificate from the National Garden Club (NGC) and is a member of the Tri-Council of Florida Federation of Garden Clubs (FFGC). Ann has been recognized as both a Master Gardener and Tree Steward, attended the famed Flower School of New York, and has been a designated gardener for the Jackson Square Community Garden since 2006.

Ann has designed and installed numerous unique and customized gardens. With a B.S. in Nursing from the University of Indiana, Ann has always been inspired by the healing powers of horticulture. She believes when surrounded by growing plants we’re getting much more than “a nice view,” but rather immersing ourselves in the regenerative and healing processes of a garden’s growth. When planning gardens and landscaping, she strives to bring this sense of well-being to each of her clients designs.

Ann’s Perspective on Great Garden Design

“Great garden design is both inspirational and functional. It’s art that inspires through imaginative solutions, while ultimately providing a feeling of calm and peacefulness.”
